Our Virtual NOC service is a 24x7 service covering the monitoring and maintenance of desktops, servers, network devices. EdgeCore Technologies has created the following service plans to give organizations a high-level of flexibility in choosing what services best suit their needs:

Desktops
1. EdgeCore CoreLIVE! - This is a preventive maintenance service for desktops designed to proactively and regimentally maintain the most troublesome areas of desktop management such as virus problems and spyware issues. The services performed under CoreLIVE! are:

  • Anti-Virus Management
  • Spyware Management

2. EdgeCore CoreLIVE! + Desktop Care – This is a preventive maintenance service for desktops designed to proactively and regimentally maintain the most troublesome areas of desktop management such as virus problems, spyware issues and patching. It is a highly unobtrusive and performed as a background service. The services performed under CoreLIVE! Desktop Care are:

  • Anti-Virus Management
  • Spyware Management
  • Temporary File/Internet Debris Removal
  • Patch Management
3. EdgeCore CoreLIVE! Desktop Care + Service Tickets – This combines the CoreLIVE! Desktop Care Service with unlimited service tickets for troubleshooting problems related to desktops. These service tickets are worked on by the engineers at our network operations center after business hours.

Servers / Devices

1. EdgeCore CoreLIVE! - This is a preventive maintenance service for servers designed to proactively and regimentally maintain the most troublesome areas of server management such as virus problems. This service includes the server antivirus licenses plus yearly maintenance upgrades. The cost for server antivirus licensing alone is typically $400-500 per server plus client licenses are extra. This basic package alone offers substantial savings just on AV protection. The services performed under CoreLIVE! are:

2. EdgeCore CoreLIVE! + Server Watch
– This is a 24x7 monitoring, analysis and escalation service based on alerts and early warning data received from EdgeCore's CoreLIVE! software. Typically any server monitoring tool generates between 9-20 alerts per day per server. Under Server Watch, EdgeCore engineers watch the alerts, analyze them and intelligently escalate issues (with steps to resolution). With Server Watch, EdgeCore engineers do not need access behind our client's firewall or to the servers being monitored. The alert analysis is performed using remote diagnostic software permitting our engineers at the NOC to get sufficient diagnostic information to process alerts being received. EdgeCore CoreLIVE! + Server Watch covers the following:
  • 24x7 monitoring, analysis and escalation

On a best effort basis, EdgeCore engineers monitor and troubleshoot server problems based on alerts and early warning information received from the CorelIVE! software as well as troubleshooting requests received from monthly onsite analysis (optional). EdgeCore CoreLIVE! Remote Server Care covers the following:
